In the domain of real-time embedded software development for aircraft systems the adherence to processes and standards is of utmost importance for the subsequent certification of the overall aircraft. As a consequence, the application and orchestration of various relevant processes on the management, technical and support levels must be ensured. In order to provide guidance to the diverse stakeholders an executable process framework was developed which gives visibility and direction on all activities during the whole software development life cycle. This framework shall now be amended with processes for software project management which requires the realisation of the following topics:

• Formal specification of SW project management processes with BPMN 2.0
• Integration of these processes into an existing process framework
• Web-service based implementation of the new SW project management processes into an existing process execution engine
• Implementation of existing SW metrication functions
• Adaptation of the SW project report generation engine

We seek a highly motivated student in Computer Science or Business Informatics to work in the interdisciplinary field of business process modelling. The successful applicant will have a profound knowledge in software development processes and standards, formal process specification, and webbased software development. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in using and developing complex software systems with up-todate software frameworks.
